Rockdale & Newton County Board

Gary and Judy Watson are Co-Agents with Ignite Payments Southern States. Gary serves as the Board President for Rockdale County FCA and Judy serves as Board Member for Newton County FCA. They both consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to work with FCA and the schools in these two counties.  Their four daughters have always been involved in some kind of sport, and they believe athletics is a great way to be able to witness to students and teachers about their walks with God. The Bible says, "How will they know if we don't tell them" Romans 10:14.  FCA is a great platform through which to tell them, through the school campuses and being able to sponsor young people at the FCA Camps.

"If you can't give of your time, then please make a donation to Rockdale/Newton FCA to support this ministry.  God has given everyone of us an ability to share our testimony and it is our prayer that each of us does, and then one of them does, and so on and so on.  God's people sharing God's message one person at a time." Rockdale/Newton FCA is happy to have “Hugs with Murphy & Maggie” therapy dogs as part of our ministry to the students in our Huddles. Murphy & Maggie’s owner/handler, Cathy Brown, is an active FCA (Rockdale) Board Member. Currently, the dogs are making visits to residents at assisted living homes, kids’ camps, and hospice patients. Cathy, along with each dog are registered therapy dog team(s) with Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Inc. (ATD). Increasingly, school educators across the country are realizing the benefits of therapy dogs in the school environment. Cathy has noticed the instant smiles and laughter upon entering a facility with the dogs; they are a magnet to those around them. And really, that’s what it’s all about – sharing smiles and joy.
